Workers Compensation

The province’s Workers’ Compensation system has undergone substantial changes in recent years, as new regulations and programs have been introduced in a number of areas.

To assist workers and unions in becoming knowledgeable participants in the new workers’ compensation system, and to provide them with advice and assistance on workers’ compensation issues, the NLFL has undertaken two key initiatives.

The Office of the Workers’ Advisor on Workers’ Compensation Issues provides advice to injured workers, both union and non-union, and/or their dependents, on workers’ compensation matters.
