The NLFL held its 73rd annual Constitutional Convention November 1st – 3rd in St. John’s NL.  The convention focused on the theme - Building for the Future: Making a difference through fightback, resistance and solidarity”. 

 Approximately 300 delegates and guests participated and debated some 40 resolutions and constitutional amendments.  IN addition, the NLFL presented a policy paper entitled: ‘Building for the Future.’ The policy paper, focused on the need for labour law reform the need to protect good jobs, engaging young activists the integral role the labour movement must continue to play in the area of political action and political bargaining.
