The Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour – representing 26 affiliated unions, 500 union locals and more than 65,000 working women and men in every sector of the economy - is calling for a boycott of Labatt products brewed, imported and sold in our province. We are respectfully asking for the support of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians in this boycott until the workers at the St. John’s Labatt plant get a fair deal. Currently the employer – a multinational corporation - is using replacement workers/strikebreakers to produce beer and is demanding massive concessions from the workers, despite skyrocketing profits.
