Resist the race to teh bottom, support local workers, boycott Labatt products

The Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour-repsresenting 26 affiliated unions, 500 union locals and more than 65,000 working women and men in every sector of teh economy-is calling for a boycott of Labatt products brewed, imported and sold in our province.  We are respectfully asking for the support of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians in this boycott until the workers at eh St. John’s Labatt plant get a fair deal.  Currently the employer-a multinataionla corporation-is using replacement workers/strikerbreakers to produce beer and is demanding massive concessions from the workers, despite skyrocketing profits.  You can find NLFL President Lana Payne’s boycott speaking notes here and materails for the boycott campaign can be found here
